DESIGN & DETAILING
At ACM we believe all successful projects start at the design and detailing stages. It is critical to insure that every detail of the project is reviewed thoroughly to incorporate into the final fabrication drawings. Our primary goal is to clearly define the project scope, adhere to anticipated schedules, maintain project budgets and perform construct ability reviews. Our team members will work hand-in-hand with all of the project stakeholders from conception through fabrication and even during the erection stages.
We utilize Tekla and Solidworks capitalizing on the ability to dimentionalize the drawings for detailing clarity. Using these programs we can easily work with our partners that incorporate Building Information Modeling with their projects
FIELD CAPABILITIES
One of the unique features of ACM is our ability to provide various field service and to view the project from a global perspective. This means that although you may have selected our services for a specific task, we have the professional ability to see beyond just our work and to have the foresight for subsequent coordination.
Some of our highly talented works include structural concrete foundations for substation support structures. These have been deep pier type foundations for switch and bus structures, transformer and breaker pads, and environmental containment pads. Outside of the substation works our field crews have placed concrete for drive approaches at national parks, sidewalks and handicap access ramps, retaining wall structures and concrete with architectural finishes.
We also have installation crews for our structural and miscellaneous steel projects. This work includes the erection of structural steel members whether in new construction or retrofit existing buildings. We provide installation of stairs, handrails, guardrails, and other items. When necessary, we only contract with the finest AISC Certified Erectors. We have developed relationships and quality expectations toward working together on AISC projects to meet our client's needs to deliver only the finest solutions for each and every project.
When your project dictates the necessity to move, install or provide maintenance on equipment, our highly trained crews consisting of millwrights and pipe fitters can provide these services. We are able to assemble, disassemble, provide scheduled maintenance, services, assess solutions for problems or production concerns. Our crews have the ability to rig, move and set large or small processing equipment, assemble or modify conveying systems, provide fabrication and welding, optical alignments, troubleshooting and diagnostic services. We can install or provide modifications to your process piping. This can include carbon steel, stainless, HDPE, PVC whether GMP processes, cooling water, gas or pneumatic systems.
COMPLICATED PROJECTS
ACM believes that through the process of collaborated efforts with our clients, we can tackle and overcome all project obstacles. Within our organization, we have years of experience in a variety of industries and construction projects. We develop a team to take on the challenge of working with our clients to come up with the best and most economical solution. One example of a successful solution is our recent Winters High School project. The design drawings were conceptual but un-constructible. Working with all project stakeholders, ACM was able to provide modeling and value engineering to successfully provide an end product which met the needs of the client
